Interested in Becoming Catholic?
The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which adults enter the Catholic Church. It's a journey, not a test — and you're welcome wherever you are.
What is OCIA?
OCIA (formerly called RCIA) is a process of formation and discernment for adults who are exploring the Catholic faith. It typically runs from fall through Easter, culminating in the sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil.
You don't need to be certain. Many people begin OCIA simply to learn more — and decide later whether to continue. There's no pressure and no obligation.
